As someone who often finds themselves moving too fast, photography helps me slow down. It has helped me find the beauty in—everything. In the slowness. In the boring moments. In the nothing. My favorite images aren’t ones that capture picturesque foreign landscapes or dramatic moments—though those are always fun. My favorite photographs are born out of the in-betweens. The moments you might otherwise miss, if you don’t know to slow down and look.
